Art that Jasper made when he was little. I think it’s a floor plan of how he viewed his apartment.

My first ever memory of Jasper was when we’re at Lagoon amusement park in utah. I just remember how he was a little nervous before going on any rides then right after, he would be full of adrenaline and ready for the next one. Later, when i wanna say i was 16-17 he came to visit to go skiiing with his dad. From the times we’ve met he’s just always been a good person to be around. I hope you found your peace. Rest easy for me man.
Any conversation I had with Jasper left me thinking about life and all the big questions he would bring up. We became friends during our senior year and he ended up being one of the people I kept in touch with after high school ended. He had a beautiful brain and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see it at work. My condolences to his loved one.
We met Jasper in the parent and child program of the Waldorf School of Brooklyn and began a sincere and important family friendship that was vital to our early days as parents, understanding what that meant to love someone maybe more than yourself and how to do this kind of full-on caretaking of another being.  When I think of Jasper I think about a little boy who was so loved by his parents, who's curious body, heart and mind were tracked and held with love by Lane and Adriana. I remember Lane supporting Jasper in exploring a water fountain from every angle for at least 20 minutes, until he was sitting in it, he wanted the full experience the water fountain had to offer.  Jasper was full of tactile and embodied interest in the world as a young boy.  His parents would allow him to explore with a patience and tenderness I longed to access in myself.  He expressed his deep sensitivity, innovative perspective and playful engagement with the world in everything he did.  I knew Jasper well for deeply formative years and always held him close in my heart because I knew he was a fellow explorer ,  a kind of poet-in-residence on planet earth  (IYKYK) and I loved him so much for his soulful presence and tenderness .  I never knew a more loving and attentive set of parents--whose creativity and depth matched their son.  I am grieving for this boy, who I know could be my boy.  Lane and Adriana, our family is with you.  I can't imagine the deep places you must be going, but not alone.  We are with you.  I'm so sorry.
