February 21, 2012, Jasper, 8, Peter, 7.  Jasper gives me camera-angle directions and advice while Peter yells Mama and picks at his butt. Not sure if the one year age gap fully accounts for the difference in sophistication levels. Nevertheless they always managed to communicate and see eye-to-eye. Jasper sometimes made me crazy...like when I tried to make him wear ski pants and gloves--"I don't need those. I am fine. Leave me alone." But he and Peter always connected. I will never forget how Jasper helped Peter after a very intense and extremely painful surgery the summer of 2021. Peter made us bring his gaming computer to the hospital and Jasper played League of Legends with Peter and talked to him via discord all day everyday for three days in a row until Peter was released from the hospital. His male nurse couldn't believe he was able to play ranked League post surgery. Peter said playing League with Jasper was the only thing that helped him through his the pain. Jasper wherever you are now please find a way to help your your father, your mother, your step-father, your friends and family work through the pain of losing you.

February 12th, 2017. We played a game one Sunday morning after breakfast: each person at the table had five minutes to complete the first four words of a sentence. Jasper reads (and writes) with that zany aplomb that all here will recollect as so uniquely Jasper-- or Jazzie as the GHS kids all called him back then.
Rest in peace to one of the kindest people I've known. Sending love.

Jasper and I would talk about music all the time. During graduation all we spoke about that day was how it excited to graduate and making music full time. I did a mock interview with everyone during graduation now that i look back at the footage i can’t help but tear up slightly because your gone.
