It's been over a year, so terribly sad and too young. Jason you were such a big hearted fun person, we had a lot of fun times, me and you and Mike, just like family, and before all this technology hanging out back in high school and good times with Keisha. We all got so busy with our adult lives. I would love to just hear your laugh again and get a bear hug and just catch up, like no time passed. I'm so glad you found your love of life with Tambi. You are missed and have filled many people's hearts with love and care just by being there and being who you are. Love, Susie

We will miss Jason very much. His laugh. His huge heart. His sense of humor. His big hugs. We have so many memories with him. We’re always here for you, Tambi. And Dawson too. You’re in our hearts.

Although I hadn't seen my brother in almost a decade, his spirit will live inside me everyday. I wake up each day with an instant picture of him or memory shared and am quickly reminded that this world won't be the same without him. No one has ever made me laugh and smile like my big brother. I always though I was safe when his presence was near. He was so gifted in so many ways, and my heart has been shattered. You will forever be love and missed.
Love,
Your Lil sis

There are people and moments you come back to in your mind that make you smile. Jason, thank you for being in our lives. You always gave your best self and made others feel seen. You could turn the mundane into an adventure, and could basically flip a full tire at the gym with one hand, but you'd never flex your achievements. From birthdays, to exploring nature, yummy meals, and meaningful chats, your presence was memorable and important to us. We will miss you and cherish you always.
Love (your gym buddies),
Chloe and Mallory

Jason was the wittiest person I’ve ever known. It doesn’t matter that it’s been 15 years since we last spoke, I can still hear his voice and his laugh and see his smile. I wish we didn’t lose touch over the years. He was always such a light in my life for such a long time. He always called me little enchilada. He brought joy to so many people and he was always there if you needed him. I will forever miss you Jason. Love , Little Enchilada.

"Pops" teaching Kayden to fish at his favorite Lake. He was so good with Kayden, always teaching him things. "Pops" taught Kayden to fish, chop wood, work on the house, build a tire swing, and to garden. They would have "man-parties" together and watch cartoons, eat popcorn and tell jokes. Kayden loved being with "Pops" and thought he could do anything. He once told us "Pops" was so strong, he was a superhero!

Jason’s soul is wise, romantic, noble, and funny! He lives on eternal in Tambi- who has loved him dearly and shared his spirit with so many. Through Tambi I learned all about Jason’s kind heart and endless humor. He was a very talented human who brought much beauty into the world through his hand made wood and metal creations. He loved his frenchies and Tambi effortlessly. Jason is truly missed and I wish I had more time to connect. Love you Jason!

After our first holiday season together, we decided we needed some traditions of our own. At the beginning of December, we would head towards the woods, grab a hot beverage in Sisters, and wander around for hours, to find the perfect tree. Once the tree was strapped to the car, we made our way back into Sisters, where we searched for the perfect ornament to represent something big that had happened that year, and get ourselves some fudge for an evening of decorating. Some years, this might have been the only real holiday thing we did, but we both loved it and always had the best time.

I will never forget being with Tambi at the time of her first text messages when reuniting with Jason a decade ago. They had known each other in their younger years, but this was the first connection that would lead to their courtship and ultimately their deep love. She was at my house for Thanksgiving when she began texting with him (thanks to her mom!) and we were both so giddy about this. We felt like teenage girls again, giggling and conspiring about a cute boy, as she filled me in on their text conversation. She was so excited and I was excited for her. Jason seemed like the perfect guy for my cousin! She went home that night and informed me the next day that they had stayed awake all night talking on the phone. Over the next decade I didn't get to hang out with Jason much, but I saw all the adventures the two of them took together doing the things that brought them joy, while working their way through the ups and downs of raising a blended family. I am deeply saddened by this tremendous loss, but I know if Tambi could go back to that day they first reconnected, she wouldn't change a thing. Jason was a good man and I know how much he is going to be missed.

Jason loved fishing, and he'd often catch fish, forage mushrooms, or grow vegetables for our dinners.

He loved helping the elderly with their groceries or getting them to their cars; and he always held doors open for anyone behind him... even if he had to wait for them to catch up.
