Jason's obituary
Jason Samuel Pellak (Jay), a loving father, son, brother and friend passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023, at the age of 46. Born in Abington, Pennsylvania on February 24, 1977, Jay was the loving son of Robert (deceased) and Mary Pellak; a treasured brother to his sister Jennifer; and a devoted father to his two children, Lila and Robert. He also leaves behind many loving cousins and friends.
Jay was the owner of JP Contracting, LLC, a successful business built on his dedication, passion, and creativity. Jay cherished working with his hands and creating beautiful living spaces for his clients.
Jay's love for his craft extended beyond his professional life as he expressed his creativity in different media, including living wood, epoxy, glass and metal. His devotion to perfecting his skills and techniques earned him the reputation of an ultimate craftsman among those who knew him well.
His heart was dedicated to time with his children. His love of the outdoors was shared with Lila and Robert on numerous camping trips. He also was very active in cub scouts creating many troop projects including a Conestoga wagon with Robert’s help. He volunteered as a basketball coach.
He was a loyal friend to all who knew him and wouldn’t hesitate to give you the shirt off his back. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service for Jason will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, visitation 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM followed by mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, East State Street, Doylestown, PA. Friends and family are invited to remember, celebrate, and honor this loving man who touched the lives of so many with his giving spirit.
In lieu of flowers, donations for his children’s education may be made to Mary T. Pellak, Custodian of Lila & Robert’s 529 College Fund.
