Jason's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Oles on May 24th, 2025. Surrounded by his loved ones, Jay lost his courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 2nd, 1972, to Debbie and James Oles, Jay leaves behind many loved ones, including his partner Christine, with whom he has shared many laughs. His 4 beautiful children, Ashley (Adam), Brendan (Alley), Taylor (Nick) & Jayda (Josh). Cherished papa to Ivy, Jaxx, Charlie & "Graygray".  He also leaves behind his brother Joe (Brandi), his sister Dana (Frank), his brother Jamie (April), as well as many nephews. He was a cherished son, dad, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was known for his musical abilities, his love for music and singing as well as his passion for fishing. Jay's family would like to express our gratitude to all the staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Clinic for all of their hard work, love, and compassion. All of Jay's nurses were truly amazing and took really good care of him. Jay's children would also like to thank his partner, Christine, for being by his side until the very end and taking amazing care of him. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral. There will be a celebration of life - details to come.
