It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Louis Herman, a beloved soul who left us far too soon on October 6, 2023, of Leander, Texas. Born on August 31, 1979.

As a father and husband, Jason exemplified unwavering dedication and cherished every moment spent with his children and family. His role as a devoted employee at the City of Austin allowed him to forge deep and lasting friendships throughout his career.

Jason is survived by his wife, Kristi, and their daughter, Brighton. He also leaves behind his cherished sons, Jackson, Aiden, and Noah Herman. Jason's memory will forever be carried in the hearts of his mother, Diane Miller, and stepfather Mark Miller, as well as his father, Lou Herman, and stepmother Brenda Herman. Additionally, he is remembered by his two stepbrothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In this time of grief, let us remember that Jason’s legacy of devotion and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his soul find eternal peace and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
