It is with profound heaviness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Silva. Born on September 29, 1973, Jason departed from this life on March 8, 2022, leaving an indelible imprint on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He lived a rich life filled with love, laughter, and a passion for all things uniquely Jason.
Left to honor Jason's memory are his wife, Bridget Minor, whom he married in 2020. Their union witnessed a love of wrestling, football, road trips, and all the simple joys of a life filled with mutual companionship. Jason also leaves behind his beloved mother, Sheila Lang, brothers Tristan and Darrin Silva, his nephew Tristan Silva Jr., niece Samantha Silva, and his son, Brian. Each of them holds dear to distinctive memories of Jason, a testament to his impact on their lives.
Jason Silva was a man of many passions. A lover of his wife's home cooked food and Pepsi, Jason derived joy not only from the meals themselves but also from the comfort of familiarity they provided. His favorite book was "Behind the Paint", a reflection of his unique taste. An avid fan of the band Insane Clown Posse, Jason also cherished wrestling and football such as WWE Raw, WWE NXT, WWE Smackdown, AEW, JCW, and NFL. Jason's favorite comcerts to watch included ICP and Exodus, and the gathering while his favorite recreational activities comprised of watching wrestling with his wife, playing games, and discovering new places on exciting road trips.
Jason championed the cause of homelessness, reflecting his compassionate nature. His favorite color, blue, held a special place in his heart. Being described as a marshmallow - rough and tough on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside, Jason was a man of determination and resilience. Some of his greatest accomplishments included overcoming his anger and forgiving himself of his transgressions. His mantra was to never give up, as he believed that determination and effort would eventually reap rewards.
The legacy Jason leaves behind is one of strength and perseverance. He made it his mission to live life on his own terms, refusing to let anyone or anything hold him back. His belief that actions, no matter how small, always get you farther than inaction was a testament to his pragmatic approach to life.
