Jason Sanders, born on January 24, 1980, in Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away on July 11, 2025, in Morristown, Tennessee. He was 45 years old.
Jason graduated from Morristown High School in 2007. Following his education, he dedicated himself to serving his country with honor and courage. In 2015, Jason retired from the military after completing service that took him between Iraq and South Carolina. Throughout his military career, he was accompanied by his loyal K-9 partner, Dutch—both of whom retired together after their years of service.
Jason was a devoted husband to Alexus Sanders and a proud father to Lanie Sanders. His love for his family was unwavering and deeply felt by those closest to him.
He will be remembered as an amazing human being—a soul whose presence brought strength and warmth to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
