Jason-Lee's obituary
Jason-Lee Perry-Honokaupu, born on May 8, 1970, passed away on March 30, 2023 from COVID-19 . He was Known for being compassionate, Jason-Lee made a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He attended Henry Perrine Baldwin Highschool where he then graduated at the top of his class. He later met his wife Shantell Konimitsu during his freshman year of college at the University Of Maui Community College & Graduated With His Associates Degree for business Management which he then later continued his education to obtain his Bachelor’s & Masters Degree before opening his Business “Maui Potato Chip Factory” in 1992.
Jason-Lee leaves behind his beloved Wife Shantell Konimitsu, His Sisters Charlene Perry Nakooka & Desiree Perry along with his Nieces Mapumai Kealohi-Hinokaupu nephew, John “Kepa” Honokaupu, who will treasure the memories made together and continue to honor his memory.
Though his life was cut short, Jason-Lee's spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be deeply missed and remembered fondly.
Jason’s Funeral will be held at Nakamura Family Mortuary & Funeral Home located on 1218 Lower Main Street in Wailuku on Sunday, April 2nd at 12:00pm-2:00pm . Cremation will take place on Saturday April 1st, 2023 and scattering of his ashes will follow his funeral service from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
