Jason Laraby, 49, of Toledo, Ohio took his final ride into the sunset on July 7th, 2024.
Jason, also known affectionately as Shrek to his friends was born February 17, 1975. He grew up in Toledo then moved to Thompson Falls, Montana, and spent time in Las Vegas, Nevada before returning home. He was employed as a tow truck driver for many years and more recently a roofer. Jason loved to fight and began entering Toughman Competitions, eventually winning Toledos Toughman Heavyweight Champ title and also an MMA Championship belt. He loved the Cincinnati Bengals and country music.
Jason is survived by his son Jason Laraby, sisters Jaime Blasingim and Heather Laraby, brothers Joshua Laraby and Joshua Fairfox and a host of neices and nephews, and great neices and nephews that he loved very much, as well as a special friend, Angie Anderson.
He was preceeded in death by his mother Sandra Watt and his beloved pig, Bacon.
Jason was a big kid at heart with a beautiful but broken spirit. Please pray he finds peace.
