RENO - Jason Robert James, born in May 1979, in Reno, NV, and passed away at the age of 45 on September 1, 2024. A lifelong resident of Reno, Jason graduated from Edward C. Reed High School and later dedicated six years of his career to a local book publisher, where his curiosity flourished. An accomplished artist, Jason found solace and joy in drawing, a hobby that he pursued passionately in his spare time. Described by those who knew him as not only talented but also a very thoughtful and caring individual, he was a cherished presence in his community and among his friends.

Jason is survived by his mother, Linda Lovie of Sparks, NV; his father, Robert James of Redding, CA; his sister, Jaci Chambers of Reno, NV and his son, Emmanual A. James. His life was also touched by the memories of his late maternal and paternal grandparents and his Uncle Randall Gardner of Portola, California, who joined him in death.
