Background

My name is Melissa. With an extremely heavy heart I have to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved younger brother Jason Ray, on Friday March 12th. He was only 35 , but before we knew it he was gone without even a goodbye. To say I am in shock is a understatement , I'm sad and heartbroken beyond words. Jason was a talented artist who enjoyed and loved to make artwork, draw and tattoo on not only himself but others as well.. He could always bring a smile to your face and he was filled with an endless amount of energy. In his short life Jason was able to overcome a life filled with more obstacles and challenges than most in his life through his dedication, hard work, presreverence, and time. He was a wonderful, loving, funny, smart, hard working and above all, loyal son, brother. uncle, and friend. We were so proud of him and the things he accomplished. His laughter was infectious to all and anyone who had the privilege of knowing my brother knows what a truly loving, giving and loyal person he was and the special spark of light he added to our family. He had a generous nature and a big heart, he had an adventurous, yet sometimes stubborn spirit, and he loved to drink beer and eat food, the hotter the better he would always say. He was there if you needed him and he always had your back no matter what. What many of you may not know is that my brother, Jason suffered from addiction on and off throughout his life and finally he lost the battle. Addiction is real, and for some it's a never ending battle. Especially during these extremely difficult times we are under and when we are unable to surround ourselves with our loved ones or get the help and guidance needed. We want to be able to celebrate and honor his life that was cut way too short but we simply are unable to do so. Please help our family to raise funds so as we may be able to cremate him and throw a celebration of life in his honor during this very difficult time our family is under. Thank you Contribute   Right arrow

Stay in the loop

My little brother, a son, an uncle, a friend, known to some as Dawg or big Jason. Although he most likely would of preferred to be known as a Beserker which is a Viking warrior. Jason Hunt
