Background
Hi, my name is Jacob Hopson and I am setting up a fundraiser to raise money for my wifes father, my father n law, Kung-Fu's funeral expenses.
Sadly, on the tragic morning of January 7, 2021 my father n law, Jason "Kung-Fu" Trahan, passed away from heart failure. It was very unexpected and sudden. It is a very detrimental situation with the holidays just passing and the Corona pandemic slowing things down. With money tight a proper and respectable burial is near impossible to acheive. However we will not stop trying to make it happen no matter the burden. "Kung-Fu" was a great man of integrity and honor and would give his loved ones and friends the shirt off his back if he knew it would help in the slightest way possible. I feel its only adequate we do the same. Regardless of what others have to say or how they feel to some he is a father, husband, son, grandfather, brother, friend, a role model, and even a hero. As i come forth i do so with an emince amount of humbless and honor asking that you graciously find it in your hearts to help me raise the money for my wife and the Trahan family in efforts to properly give "Kung-Fu" the burial he deserves. I ask of you to have compassion and empathy for this wonderful man and his family in their time of mourning and need. I desperately urge for all family, friends, coworkers, strangers, and Christians to donate any amount that you find respectable and within your budgets that you can. Please don't think any amount is to small because even a dollar starts with a penny. I also beg of you to share this with the contacts in your phones and across social media with urgency. The date and funeral prosessions have not been scheduled due to a lack of funds. I will not set an amount or goal to be reached any and all contributions will be dearl appreciated, accepted, and go directly towards the funding of sending our Angel home to be with his loved one's that made it prior to him. As soon as there is enough funding available the arrangements will be made and everyone will be notified of time and day to come celebrate the life of a very dear friend of mine.
