Jason Gabris, of Christiansburg, Virginia, was born in 1974 and passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 51.

Jason was a kind and thoughtful person who touched the lives of many with his warmth and humor. He had a deep love for art, often spending his time drawing, taking photographs, and crafting. He also enjoyed movies — especially Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney — and could happily share his enthusiasm with anyone who would listen. Jason found peace in nature, whether hiking to waterfalls, tending to flowers and gardens, or collecting unique rocks along the way. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 7th, 1993.

Above all, Jason was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He will be remembered for his creativity, his joy in life’s simple pleasures, and the deep love and devotion he showed to his family and friends.

Jason is survived by his loving wife, Becky Gabris; his daughter, Amber Sherwood; his father, Rick Garbis; his son-in-law, Aaron Sherwood; his brothers-in-law, Greg Allison and Gilbert Garcia; and his sisters-in-law, Lisa Allison and Linda Garcia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lori Gabris.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 105 Tower Road, Christiansburg, VA 24073. All who knew and loved Jason are welcome to attend and share in honoring his memory.
