Jason Charles Duffy, 49, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on April 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Jason was born on July 8, 1976, in Overland Park, Kansas, the son of Charles Duffy and Karen Duffy Shryock.

Jason graduated from Blue Valley High School in 1994 and then went on to play football at Kansas State University.

Jason married Molly Blume on July 11,  1997. They were married for 17 years until Molly passed away on May 4, 2015. They were high school sweethearts who went on to have four beautiful children and one grandson.

Jason especially loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with friends and his girlfriend, Amber Mollison, and spending time with his four children and grandson.

Remaining to cherish Jason’s memory are his son, Joseph Duffy; his daughters, Meara Duffy, Margaret Duffy, and Morgan Duffy; his grandson, Kohen Haight; his sister, Kayla Duffy; his father, Charles Duffy; and his girlfriend, Amber Mollison.

Preceding Jason in death are his mother, Karen Duffy Shryock, and his wife, Molly Duffy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Lake Tapawingo Clubhouse.
