Jake's obituary
“Jake” joined his younger brother Danny in heaven, leaving behind his true soul mate and the love of his life, Pam, who mourns his loss deeply. He is also survived by his dad, Leonard, his mom, Mary, his brothers, Mike and Stevie, and a host of close family and friends who cherished him dearly. He passed away on June 13th, 2024
Jake spent his early years traveling with his family due to his father's military career, moving from his birthplace in South Carolina to Colorado, then California and Utah. He finished high school in Bountiful, Utah, where he enjoyed hockey, contributing to his team's state championship victory during his senior year. After high school, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he established strong connections and developed a deep affection for the city. Jake loved living in LA.
Jake has always been able to make friends wherever he was. He was born with a happy and outgoing personality that never diminished. He genuinely cared about people, and his ability to demonstrate that caring spirit almost immediately endeared him to the people he met, both in business and socially. He was also the most optimistic person to everyone who knew him.
Jake aspired to be a fireman in his early days and completed the LA fire academy, he briefly worked as a wildland firefighter, but started his career as an EMT operating ambulances. Typical of Jake, he moved up the ranks and eventually became the General Manager of several ambulance companies.
Motivated by a desire to lead his own venture, he started his own medical transport business. Despite the challenges brought by the Covid pandemic, which transformed the industry and impacted Jake's gurney transport service, his entrepreneurial spirit remained strong.
Exploring various new business opportunities, Jake harnessed his entrepreneurial drive to create a fleet washing business. He devised a marketing strategy, established a website and successfully launched the venture just last month. With his keen business sense and strong work ethic, Jake already made strides in his new endeavor.
Despite all his hard work, he embraced life with boundless energy and a sense of adventure. In his final adventure, his brave heart took flight, forever fearless and his love shining bright. He leaves behind a legacy of profound love that touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
