Jasmine's obituary
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." – Psalm 34:18
With heavy hearts but unwavering hope in Jesus, we announce the passing of our beloved Jasmine, who entered into eternity on June 19, 2025, at the young age of 43.
Jasmine passed away surrounded by love. While her time here was far too short, her impact will last in our hearts forever.
Jasmine lived a life marked by strength, loyalty, and fierce love. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend, and to so many, a light! Her love for her family ran deep, and her devotion to her close friends and fur babies was unmistakable. Jasmine approached life with passion and boldness, qualities that showed in every relationship she held close .
Though tragedy cut her journey short, her perseverance in suffering was a testament to the strength within her and God’s incredible grace.
Her life, like a jasmine flower was beautiful yet resilient. The jasmine flower is known for its beauty, grace, and strength. That picture is a reflection of who Jasmine was: gentle in spirit, strong in heart, and rooted in love.
Jasmine is survived by parents Erin and Peggy Covey in Frisco, TX, Aaron and Ash-Lee Covey in Denton Tx, Christopher Covey in Frisco Tx, Jordan Covey in Denton Tx, Charlotte Covey (niece), Grayson Covey (nephew), Jayden Covey (nephew), grandmother Joan Covey, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will carry her memory with them always. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs Lucy and Axel, who were never far from her side and brought her endless joy.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Anna Christian Fellowship 2504 Country Road 376 Anna, TX 75409, where we will honor Jasmine’s legacy with scripture, song, and the beauty of the jasmine flower that so perfectly reflects her soul.
In lieu of typical flowers, the family asks that you bring a jasmine plant that the family can plant in her memory, so her light can continue to bloom wherever love grows, in all her favorite places!
