Jarrid's obituary

Jarrid Rentas, beloved son, brother, fiancé, grandson, nephew, and cousin passed away on March 20th, 2024, at the age of 27. Jarrid was in Palm Harbor, Florida with his family by his side. He fought a courageous battle against stage four sarcoma cancer, that was diagnosed on February 23, 2023, after experiencing a pain in his leg.

Jarrid was born on August 13, 1996, in Camden, New Jersey to Miguel Rentas and Christine Margerum. He grew up in Williamstown, NJ with his father, Miguel, and stepmother Jennifer. Jarrid had a passion for cars and working on them which led to him studying auto mechanics at Gloucester County Technical Institute. He also had a passion for emergency vehicles which showed in his skill and dedication to his career. Jarrid and his fiancé Brittany McManus relocated to Florida in December 2017 to join family after they moved to Palm Harbor, Fl July 2016. Jarrid had a need for speed, loved fast cars, playing video games, fishing and spending time with his family and friends

Jarrid will be deeply missed by his surviving family members that include parents Jennifer and Miguel, sisters Dominque and Emily, brothers Jack and Owen, and fiancé Brittany, Uncle Bobby Rentas, grandparents William and Georgia Marko and Carmen Perea. Along with multiple extended family members.

He will always be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and love for his family and friends. Jarrid will be greatly missed, but his legacy will continue to live on through those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service will be held to honor Jarrid's life will be held at 3pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024at Palm Harbor Methodist Church 1551 Belcher Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683.
