Jarrett and Molly's obituary

On behalf of our family

Molly M. Birchman

Molly Birchman of Seattle, Washington passed away on Tuesday, August 20 at the age of 61. She was born May 17, 1963 in Seattle and was raised on Capitol Hill. Molly was the 7th of 8 children born from Ron and Geneva MacMillan. Being raised in a very large family with many siblings and a very large extended family shaped the beautifully unique personality she had. From a very young age she had an extraordinary, competitive and loving nature. She was a life long soccer fan often found playing, coaching, or just being the loudest fan in any room. She was also a life long gardener with the ability to turn a bare patch into a wonderful oasis. These passions and character traits where also in her personal life. Molly met the love of her life Jarett Birchman early on in life. Their loving bond was truly unlike any other. Together they conquered everything life could throw at them. They were synonymous together Molly and Jarett, Jarett and Molly. Together they bought a run down farm house in Shoreline, while Jarett built the house Molly turned it into a home. This home she created extended to family, friends and anyone else in between. Molly was able to make friends in any situation and more often then not those friends became part of the extended family. Molly is survived by her son, daughter, 2 grandchildren and the countless people she adopted in her beautiful life. She had the ability to create beauty and hope in the darkest of situations. Having lost her husband only 5 1/2 months to the day of her passing. The family will be holding a celebration of life for both Jarett and Molly together – how they lived life.

Jarett Birchman of Seattle Washington passed away on Thursday March 7th at the age of 64. He was born on April 1960 in Seattle Washington and was raised on Capitol Hill. Jarett was in many senses a perfect anomaly. He came from a rough up bringing and had many challenges in his early years of life. Despite not having a high school education he started his own commercial contracting buissnes that became wildly successful. In the prime of his life he suffered an accident that left him paralyzed from his waist down. Even with these set backs he remained a pivotal figure in his family and communities lives. Jarett is survived by his loving wife Molly, son, daughter and 2 grandchildren. He is also survived by the many people he adopted in life. Jarett had an amazing ability to connect with people who needed a second chance or just fatherly advise to get them on track. He was the person everyone would call when they needed a helping hand. The Family would like to thank the many nurses, doctors, and hospital staff that have done an amazing job helping his over these years.
