At a very young age Jared showed an interest in gardening, often running around in the mud in his rubber boots while in his mother’s garden. Growing up on his family’s ranch, Jared’s passion for the outdoors and all things nature fostered his natural abilities as a horticulturist. When the opportunity to purchase the land he grew up on in Sebastopol, with his brother Dustin and Dustin's wife, Sabrina, Jared was eager for the opportunity to build his own garden. With determination and hard work Jared was able to accomplish the garden of his dreams. In just a few short years, Jared was able to create an oasis, complete with a memorial for his late grandparents, whom he had loved dearly. Using repurposed wood from their home and buoys from his late grandmother’s collection, Jared crafted a sacred space where all are welcome to sit by the pond and enjoy the serenity of his garden. The family would love to continue honoring Jared’s memory by keeping the garden a place for community and companionship. Contribute
