Jared "Brah" Michael Childers, 40, of Marrero, Louisiana left this world on September 2, 2023. We would love for you to celebrate his life with us.

A potluck gathering of friends and family is planned on November 4, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm at the Bridge City Fire Station located at 2220 Bridge City Ave, Bridge City, Louisiana.

Jared its preceded in death by his Grandmother Geraldine LeFort, Uncle Jody Lefort and Cousin Jacob Lefort. Paternal Grandfather Gracie Childers. Paternal Grandmother Ethel Brammer and Step-Grandpa Billy Jack Brammer.  He is survived by his Mother Danilyn Lefort Childers, his Father James Childers, his Grandfather Milton J Lefort. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Jared was strong willed and  at times stubborn but he also had an enormous heart . He was loving, caring, kind, generous, loyal, and brave. Jared was good friend. He was clever and had a wonderful sense of humor. Jared was full to the brim with knowledge gained through all of his life experiences. He enjoyed playing guitar, gardening, woodwork and carpentering, camping, fishing and much more. He had a love for animals and had many pets over the years. He especially loved this dogs Baby Girl and Timber; his cats Smokey, Oreo and Lyla; and his cockatiel King.

He loved working in the movie industry. He was an Actor, Co- producer, production designer, boom operator and production assistant on independent films. He was a background actor in numerous Hollywood movies and TV shows. Jared was very talented. He will be greatly miss.
