About Get Us PPE

COVID-19 is a global pandemic and our healthcare workers are our first line of defense.

Personal Protective Equipment (often called “PPE”) is the suit of armor that healthcare workers wear into the fight -- the respirators, gloves, face shields, and gowns. Nationwide, there is a critical shortage of PPE. Manufacturers are urgently ramping up PPE production to meet global demand, but until then, every hour counts, along with every mask and every glove. As this crisis escalates, supplies save lives.

To bridge this gap, passionate grassroots teams sprung up across America to donate critical relief supplies to healthcare workers in need. #GetUsPPE is a coalition founded by emergency room physicians and built by volunteers to join these groups in a single, unified effort. Together we are stronger and more efficient than we were alone and we’re putting critical PPE in the hands of our healthcare heroes, right now.
