Janiya, 16, of Grand Rapids, Michigan died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Her loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Janiya was born on April 26, 2005 to Patrice Pearson and Antonio Redmond in Grand Rapids, MI. Janiya attended East Kentwood Public Schools and was passionate about being a successful young adult.

She also spent a lot time with her special friend Chris and loving on her siblings, especially the smallest 4 of the clan which are two sets of twins.

Anyone who knew Janiya, knew that she was kind, loving, caring, and warm-hearted. She had an immense passion for accomplishing her goals and becoming a mature, responsible young adult. Janiya’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.
