I was shocked and saddened to read of Jan's passing. I knew her in the early 1980's when she was office manager for a small oil company in Midland, TX. She was a lovely, intelligent, athletic, and fun-loving lady. She loved playing tennis and the piano. She also knew what she wanted in life, and by the looks of her beautiful daughters on her Facebook site, she was very successful in her goal of wanting a family. When we knew each other, I still did not even know what I wanted to be when I grew up! So, we parted ways, and for some reason, I tried looking her up a week or so ago. That is when I found her obituary. I'm sorry I was not able to communicate with her prior to her passing. My most heart-felt condolences go out to her daughters and extended family. Rest in peace, Jan.
