Janine's obituary
Janine Osborne, 61, passed away peacefully, listening to Carole King and surrounded by her family on December 17th 2024, in Bellevue Nebraska.
Janine was born on October 29th 1963 in Jackson, Michigan to Buzz and Lorry Osborne. She grew up in Norvell and graduated from Napoleon High School class of 1981. She went to Jackson Community College where she joined Starfleet Ambassadors and graduated with her associates degree. She worked for Kelly Services for 15 years where she helped many people in the Jackson area gain employment. Through the years she continued to work in an HR capacity in Ann Arbor, and Lansing where she was employed at Dart Container until she medically retired. She was musically talented and enjoyed singing and performing. She sang at AJ’s touch of class, traveled all over Michigan with Equinox and sang locally with bands like Alibi- to name a few.
If Janine loved you she cooked you a meal and made sure you never left her house hungry. She loved all of her family and friends unconditionally. She found happiness eating popcorn, relaxing by the water hunting for Petoskey stones, watching sunsets, and floating on the lake. Her Grandson Darren ultimately brought her the most joy. She described him as her best medicine and she felt blessed to spend the last year and a half with him everyday in Nebraska.
Janine is survived by her daughter Rachael, son in law Jamie, and grandson Darren. Her brothers John (Jeanie), Reed (Tammi), Brian (Kim), sisters Cindy (Fred), Michele (Harry). Her nephews Ian (Evan), Casey, and nieces Kaitlin, Keely (Gio), Katie (Mike), Paige (Matt), Alicia (Keith), Emily (John), Rebekah, Meghan (Ryan), Sarah (Zach), Selena (Will), Chelsey (Nick), Carrie (Jake) and Amelia. Great Nieces and Nephews Salinger, Simone, Brannick, Rilynn, Jordan, Lyla, Jonathan, Evelyn, Violet, Charlotte, Andrew, Joseph, Hannah, Logan, Aidyn, Tyler, Teagan, Tristan, Arley, Caleb, and Jonah. Her cousins, and many dear friends who were like family.
Janine was welcomed into heaven by her parents, her brother Mike Osborne, her great-nephew Hunter, and a grandbaby we carried only in our hearts.
