Janice Sopher, born June 3, 1953 in Salem , Or to George and Clarine Nelson Kelso resided in Longview, Wa  has passed away peacefully of natural causes on February 21, 2023.

Janice Graduated from Astoria High School  and later moved to Longview, Wa were she was retired. A loving, caring mother and cherished friend, Janice was known for her kind heart and unwavering spirit throughout her life. 

 She is survived by her two  devoted children, her son Donald Carl Salmon JR of Bremerton and her daughter  Debra Salmon of La Center who carries on her mother's memory with pride and fortitude. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Josh, Nate, Leyna & Ben; two brothers Ed Kelso and Steven Kelso; two sisters , Robin Kelso and Tracy Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews.   Janice's influence touched many lives during her 69 years, and her legacy shall continue to inspire those who knew her. 

 A celebration of Janice's life will be held at a later date, allowing friends and family to come together and honor the memory of this remarkable woman. Janice shall be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her essence will remain alive through the love and memories shared within her community.
