Janice "Jannie" Wilson, 75, of Valdosta, GA, peacefully passed away on November 27, 2022 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with breast cancer. Janice was born on April 06, 1947 to William and LueAnn Wilson in the bustling city of Augusta, Ga. After Janice graduated from Richmond County Schools in 1965, she worked in the food industry for over 32 years. Janice was passionate about cooking and loved what she did for a living. In 1978, she met Issac Wilson at church. Janice and Issac went on to have 4 children, Ike Jr, Edna Terrance, and Brenda. Janice retired in 2010 While retired, Janice had time to pursue her love of knitting and fishing. Janice was predeceased by parents, William and LueAnn Wilson. She is survived by one loving and faithful husband, Issac Wilson of Valdosta, Ga. 4 beautiful children Ike Jr(MaryAnn) Godfrey of Valdosta, Ga, Edna Godfrey of Washington, Ga, Terrance(Talia) Wilson of Thomson, Ga, Brenda(Marcus) Jackson of Columbus, Ga. 4 special grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Gerald Godfrey of Valdosta, Ga, Jeremiah, Jaiquain(LiRosie), and JaKion Wilson all of Thomson, Ga. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
