Background
Jan spent her life giving to others. If you wish to honor her legacy, please consider making a charitable donation in her name.
As the website on which we are hosting this memorial limits us to one featured organization, Jan's family has chosen to feature Alley Theatre. Theater was one of Jan's many passions, and the Alley remains a valuable creative institution for the Houston area.
However, Jan was deeply invested in a great number of social and charitable causes. Prior to her passing, she expressed her desire to support all of the following organizations:
Alley Theatre
Habitat for Humanity
Main Street Theater
Mothers Against Drunk Driving
National Audubon Society
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
St.. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
United Nations Children's Fund
