It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janice Gibbs-Brugnoli on January 7, 2024. Janice was born in 1950, a woman of reserved yet warm character, always intrigued by the world around her. She had a loving spirit and was particularly fond of the outdoors, often found taking adventurous walks in the park or enjoying bike rides.

Janice is survived by her sons, Paul Brugnoli, and Adam Brugnoli and his wife, Sarah Brugnoli, and her cherished granddaughter, Aidyn Brugnoli.  Also survived by loving Sister, Joyce Gibbs-Atkinson, and caring brother, Harry Gibbs, Jr. and his wife Joyce. Additionally survived by Sister-in-law, Linda Gibbs, wife of Carl. This loss is deeply felt by her family and all who had the privilege to know her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry D. Gibbs, Sr. and Mayme Annette Gibbs, and her brothers, Carl and David Gibbs. The memory of Janice’s love and character lives on in those who were close to her and those influenced by her warm personality.

Janice's life was marked not only by her love for her family but also her love for nature. In lieu of flowers, her family is raising funds for the Arbor Day Foundation in her memory. She will be dearly missed but her spirit will continue to live on through her family and the memories they created together. Her warmth, love, and adventurous spirit will always be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. A private memorial service will be held with immediate family.
