Janetta's obituary

Janetta Cooper, 43, of Washington D.C., DC, passed away on November 14, 2022 after a long battle with mental health complications.


Janetta was born on 26th day of July, 1979 to Barbara Cooper and Bradford Cooper in Washington DC. After attending Calvin Coolidge High School, Janetta got her General Education Diploma in 1997, she went on to study Culinary Arts. She landed her first job as a Ellis Island as a cook, kicking off a long career in the culinary arts field working at different high end restaurant s in The Washington DC area. In 2001, she met Jacob Martin Sr, and they wedded, going on to have 3 children, Jacob Martin Jr., Jaleel Martin & Janee Burley. After a long career in culinary arts, Janetta spent her time in the community bringing joy
