Obituary
Janet Wolford, 85, passed away on May 17, 2025, following a prolonged and private illness.
She was born on July 19, 1939, in McKinney, Texas, in the closing years of the Great Depression. Janet was the only child of William Phillips Wolford, a local merchant, and Mona Pearl Davis Wolford, a schoolteacher. Both of her parents were members of large, established pioneer families whose roots run deep in Collin County.
