Janet Thomas Shumaker Brown fought a long and hard battle with colon cancer and went to meet her maker today at 3:07 pm
She was preceeded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Hope Thomas Shrewsbury (1974, WV), Joyce Ann Thomas Hunter (2019, MD), husband, Charles William Brown (1998), father William Henry "Willie" Thomas Sr (2002), brother William Henry "Billy" Thomas Jr (2002) and her mother Idell Vivian Spindle Thomas Dill (2015).
She is survived by her daughters and their families:
Troi Shumaker Lilly and sons (and their families) Derek Cannon (Kristen; Brylee, Audree, Averee, Delainee), Justin Lilly (Mikayla; Ellie, Emrie), James Lilly Jr (Liz; Cora, Erik);
Kim Bright and children Jessica Wise (Serenity Wise, Lyric Walker), Jeff Pauli (Tiffany; Jeffrey "JP" Jr, Bentley), Lacey DeHoff.
Lorie Shumaker Link (Mike; Erica, Michael)
She is also survived by one sister, Judith Dale Thomas Taylor (FL) and one brother Richard "Ricky" Thomas (VA), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial details to be finalized soon, Covid-19 regulations being the determining factor.
