Jan was a beautiful and charming woman. We were very close for awhile in the
90s, but lost touch. I learned many things from her.

I know this page looks slightly unloved but I think it being here for people to come to and grieve at their own pace will be a blessing. I'm currently, slowly going through all of her mementos, scanning photos, and learning even more about how incredible of a person my mom was. My hope is to share some of the best pictures and other goodies I come across but it's a slower process than I would like. This past Tuesday was her first birthday since her passing; I enjoyed a caramel machiatto from Starbucks on her behalf, read her "Love You Forever," sang her "500 Miles" and "Happy Birthday," blew out a candle on top of a slice of cake and watched "Gremlins" for her. She was loved and always will be.

My best friend growing up.....funny, smart, loving, caring, giving, silly, always fun....bundles of laughter with a little bit of sass. She was beautiful but never seemed to know that. She loved her children. She is someone I will always hold dear....we held each other up through a lot of happy times and through broken hearts. I am sorry that she is gone so soon, but glad she is at peace. Though we had lost track and found each other off and on through life, I am sad we were not able to connect before she passed. I believe when kindred spirits find each other in life, that they will find each other again in heaven and wherever we go beyond that. I will see you again Jan.... I love you my friend....always and forever.
