Preceded in death by infant daughter Katherine Renee Gregory, father Frank Arthur Gregory and beloved fur child Wiggles.

Survived by mother, Barbara Bernard Gregory and siblings:

Mary Kaye Gregory Nestor, Lyle Mason Gregory, Leslie Lynn Crowe-Hoag

In addition to her family, Janet leaves behind many friends, clients and co-workers who came to know her for her generous heart and honest assessment of life. Janet’s career was broad. She worked as an educator who taught us a lot more out of school than she could have in a classroom.

Later she worked as a caregiver who voluntarily kept her favorite clients on speed-dial even when she changed companies. She also had a passion for interior decorating and along with her children’s father, Ken Peschong, founded a window covering business that continues to thrive to this day. She had a passion for animals that she came by honestly has clearly passed along to her lovely daughter. Nobody who suffered escaped her notice and she gave from the bottom of her heart.

Before you start thinking she was perfect in this life, remember that Janet’s sarcastic sense of humor was definitely part of her charm. Janet understood that some rules only made sense when they were flexible enough to bend or break and allow for the more ridiculous journey to unfold.

She lived her life guided by faith and in that she never faltered. Janet overcame many challenges, always got back on her feet, and never quit.

She was a study in contradictions.

Janet was someone who didn’t judge, but could be counted upon to tell the honest truth.

Janet was a hard worker who also knew how to make leisure time when and where she could.

She was a lover and a fighter and she will be missed.

Rest in Peace Janet Lee Gregory Peschong. You did well.
