Oh, Larry, Emily and I are so very sorry for your loss of sweet Janet.  She was loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed in OP. As are you….❤️

Dear Larry,

Janet was a beautiful person - always smiling. I remember her fondly from Antrim High.

Larry and family- Holly and I are so sorry to hear about Janet and extend our deepest sympathy. Janet was a special person and knowing her was both a joy and a privilege. We will always remember our impromptu get togethers in Ocean Park as well as our trips to the Black Point Inn. We miss you both.

Wes and I also treasure all our fun tailgating and games at Georgia Tech with tickets Larry always ordered for the entire group so we could all sit together.   I treasure a fun “girl’s weekend” Janet hosted while our husbands were on a golf weekend.  Shopping, eating, drinking and staying up late just chatting in our Pj’s.  A slumber party!   More recently we stayed with them in their house in Maine.  Larry and Janet drove us all over to their favorite quaint towns and seafood restaurants.  Special memories with Janet and Larry.   ❤️
Lindsay, we are so sorry for your loss! You and your family are in our thoughts.  Sending tons of love your way!

In the 56 + years I've known Janet she became "the sister I never had". She  was a true friend and I  cherish all our memories. Janet was a wonderful Mom and homemaker and leaves an impressive legacy for her children and grandchildren.I'll always remember her  kind and gentle spirit and of course her sense of humor.
Lindsay, I am so sorry to hear that your mom has passed.  She was such a good friend to me. We had such good times together in Big Canoe. Long  hikes, long talks, lots of laughs, some tears.  I missed her when she left Georgia, and I miss her now. Prayers for you and your family.
Janet’s wit and smile will be missed. We had many chats and shared stories on the patio in Ocean Park behind the house with sun on our faces and laughter in the air. We will miss you like crazy.
Sapphire and I truly enjoyed having Larry and Janet as neighbors in Ocean Park. They were both ready to offer a lending hand, a hug or a smile. Janet and I would walk our dog together so I got to know her fairly well. Such a lovely woman.

We had so much fun going to the Georgia Tech football games in the mid 1990's (they had a pretty good team in those days). The tailgating, cooking breakfast on Thanksgiving morning of the Georgia game that was played around 11:30 in the morning. We all went to a New Year's Eve bowl game in Jacksonville, Fla when Tech beat Notre Dame. One especially fun game was when Tech played Clemson at Clemson. We had quite a crowd going to the game; we rented two vans and decorated one for Clemson and one for Tech. Janet was at all the games....great memories. I am glad Janet was in my circle of those I call friends.

I know all of the fun memories about the crazy parties and tailgating have already been shared but on a personal note this is one of my many wonderful memories of Janet. Long ago (when we were just "youngsters" playing on Oxford Mill women's tennis) I remember how excited I would be when I had the opportunity to have Janet as my partner because she was so much better than me. She also kept it light and fun...when I would miss an easy shot, she would walk over to me, look me in the eye and with a smile and a wink say something like" get over it and GET THE NEXT ONE". That was how she was and will be deeply missed .

My love to Larry and family. Janet and Larry were our funny, generous, and kind neighbors in Ocean Park, ME. We miss them!!
In the 1980s, we built a house in Bow, NH. Across the street was the best value added! - Janet and Larry Nay and their two kids. Janet and I became fast friends - she got me and I got her! We discussed world problems,  our mutual dislike of Halloween, and cried together as we put our daughters on the bus the first day of kindergarten. We laughed, cried, vented, discussed and laughed more. Janet was up for any kind of adventure and we had many. She was the kind of friend one always hopes for! I count myself as very fortunate to have known her and been her friend.
I was in high school with Janet. She always had a smile on her face. I remember when she was a candidate for the miss cheerleader of NH, for I think, 1969. Larry was more proud than she was. All my Memories are from long long ago.

☹️We will miss Janet so much. Our fun trips with Oxford Mill group, and  Patriot football games in Big Canoe. Did Brandy get spiked?  Sharing the wonderful teenage years with our girls. So cute how they immediately bonded to be best friends! Love to you Larry!

I met Janet around 1970 and was immediately struck by her stunning beauty and by her gentle, kind nature. 0ver the past fifty-five years that has not changed; however, over the course of time, I learned that Janet was a strong and determined woman. Larry was a lucky man to have her support and love over all these years and Lindsey and Tylor were equally fortunate to have such a loving mom. Larry, my dear friend, and kids, my deepest and most heartfelt sympathies go out to you.
Visited Aunt Janet after Tyler was born, but before Linds. Tyler was riding the tank on vacuum cleaner and I saw his curly hair and blue eyes and asked where the blue eyes came from and she stuck her face in mine to show me hers! Burst out laughing😃

I was with you when you took your last breath. It was my honor to be with you as Jesus held out his arms for you. I know you will be our guardian angel now (as you and I "discussed" earlier this week!). We love you more than words can say.
