Janet's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janet McDade on December 7, 2023. Born on April 9, 1946, to the late Daniel and Amy Fisher, Janet was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her.
Janet will be remembered for her effervescent personality, warmth, and sweetness that brightened the darkest days. Just being in her presence could lift the spirits of those around her, and her bubbly laughter was truly infectious. She was a beacon of positivity, kindness, and joy.
In 1969, Janet moved to Waco, TX, where she would build the rest of her life. It was there she met the love of her life, Tim Carter. They married in 1972, and their bond was a testament to a love that is inspiring, deep, and enduring.
The couple was blessed with their precious daughter, Ashley Carter, in 1979. Janet's love for her family was boundless; she was the heart of their home, the source of strength, wisdom, and boundless affection. Her devotion to her family was unmatched, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished forever.
Janet is predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Amy Fisher. She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Carter, their daughter, Ashley Carter, and her brother, Kyle Fisher. Her memory will live on in their hearts, as well as in the hearts of the countless lives she touched throughout her life.
Janet's passing is a great loss, but her spirit, love, and laughter will forever echo in the memories of those who had the honor of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
