Janet Horne, 88, of Buckingham passed away peacefully on December 23. She is now with her loving husband Carl who preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving children , Carla (partner Harry), Barry (Diane), Linda (Michael), Bonnie (Paul), Ned and Laurie. She is also survived by her grandchildren , Jared, Jennifer, Marlene, Krista , Marie, Stephie, Dustin, Jason, Brieanne and Christopher and their spouses and significant others. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Austin, Amanda, Alyssa, Hailey, Brandon, Jayden, Keira, Owen, Robbie, Hunter and Jackson, and their spouses and significant others.  Preceded in death by her brother Frank (Shirley), survived by her sisters, Claudine (Dale), Gayle(Herm), Ruth (Sam), and brother Danny (Sherry).

To know her was to love her.  Her grandkids would often say her “frozen” waffles with butter and syrup were like gold. I think what they felt was the love that being with her brought.  We will always remember her listening ear and her love.  You could tell her anything and she would not judge.  Our best memories will always be at her house for the holidays with her delicious food and her standing with her apron on and smiling.  She will be missed by all who’s lives she has touched.  Goodbye for now and we shall meet again, Wife, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandmom, and Great Grandmom.
