Janet Greer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 85. She was born on August 25, 1937, to Durwood and Margaret Swart in undefined.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Greer, her daughter Nancy, her son Timothy Greer and his spouse Jessica Greer, and nine adoring grandchildren. (Jonathan, Marlee, Timothy Jr, Logan, Richard, Emma, Tommy and Winter, Katelyn)

Janet attended Saugatries High School and graduated in 1961. She furthered her education at SUNY Ulster before starting a successful career at The Floral Cottage in Port Ewen until retiring in 1998.

Janet will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and love for her family. She had a passion for gardening, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Janet fought a brave battle against heart cancer and lung cancer, but she never lost her positive spirit and sense of humor.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
