To Victor and your entire group of family and friends: I am sure it will take a long time to get over the loss of Jane's beautiful presence in your lives. As you can see from many of the comments, she was always loved by classmates like myself (I met her in seventh grade and we were also in majorettes together). Yes, that warm and genuine smile she had always endeared her to people. Sorry I got the news very late, as I am not on Facebook. My deepest condolences.

Jane Rea or Miss Jane as most students called her was my very first teacher ever in pre-k and she was the first person I ever saw in real life who looked like a movie star. She was beautiful, poised and bubbly but also down to earth. I was fortunate enough to have her as my teacher again in 6th and 7th and during that time I got to be good friends with Janee and Jessica and Jane graciously hosted many sleepovers and always made them fun.
When I think of Jane, I remember her dressing up in poodle skirts for school spirit days, doing puppet skits, taking us on class trips, loaning out class pets, and of course all the years she was my awesome cheerleading coach. But mostly I think about her enormous love for children, especially her daughters.
She was a real friend to both students and parents like my Mom and many others and she was the only teacher from New Covenant whose students would come back and visit after they had left the school. Her love for her daughters was unmatched and I am grateful for everything she taught me both in and outside of the classroom. She will be dearly missed, may she rest in the sweetest of peace. 🙏🕊️
I love you Miss Jane 💞

Jane and I were classmates from junior high until graduation. We saw each other a few times after but then lost touch. It warms my heart to see what a wonderful family and life she created. That beautiful smile of hers in these pictures says it all. I’m glad we had a chance to have that brief conversation, and that you knew so many of your classmates cared. My sincere condolences to her family for the loss of such a amazing woman.

So sorry to hear about Jane. A fellow classmate and served in the band in Junior and Senior High. Though I never interacted with her I always felt she had a beautiful spirit about her.
