Jane Ann Murt, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025.

Jane’s greatest joy in life was her family and the special bond she shared with her sister, Marilyn Sue Branham. She adored her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them. Known for her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and care.

She had a deep appreciation for nature and found special joy in bird watching. Whether from her own backyard or during her travels, she loved observing the beauty and wonder of the natural world. In her youth she spent summers at Lake Wawasee with parents Paul and Josephine O'Connor. In 1965 the family bought a cottage on Lake Wawasee which Jane and her sister (Sue) had for over 50 years.

Jane’s life was a reflection of kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will continue to inspire those who loved her.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many dear friends who will carry her spirit forward.
