Jane's obituary
Jane Louise LaValle of Gill, Ma passed away after a brief illness on July 14th, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Ma. with family at her side.
Jane was born in Norfolk, Va on March 12, 1961. Daughter of Mary and Kenneth Clark. Jane graduated from Greenfield High School. She later in life attended Greenfield Community College before beginning her career at CSO in Greenfield, Ma where she remained employed until her passing.
Jane married young to Gregory Kingsbury who she had three children with Jeremy, Jason and Jenele. They lived in Shelburne, ma. At that time Jane worked at Shelburne Country store.
In 1994 Jane met Wayne LaValle and their love story began. They spent many nights clearing the dance floor at the local "No Name". People would stand in awe watching the two cut a rug.12 years later they would get married at their home on the Connecticut River on a perfect summer day.
Jane loved to be on the water. She would spend time taking her members from CSO fishing, jet skiing, kayaking or even just floating at sunset with Wayne. She was part of many kayaking trips, most notably a 70 mile trip that included 11 kayaks and lots of laughs. She was even known to toss a friend or even one of her kids off the back of her jet ski a time or two.
Jane was most happy around her children and grandchildren. She once told her best friend in life Mary that she could not wait to have grandchildren. She got her wish and was blessed with 9 in all. Colton, Harper, Arlo, Otis ,Kendall, Karsyn Hadley, Charlotte and Quinn all would be told " Stop your nonsense" by their very loved Mimi Jane.
Jane leaves behind her husband Wayne LaValle and beloved companion Panzer of Gill, Ma. Her three children and spouses Jeremy and Sara Kingsbury of Shelburne Falls, Ma. Jason Kingsbury of Greenfield, Ma. Jenele Kingsbury and Josh Kubecka of Vernon, Vt. A brother Jim and wife Chris Clark of Greenfield , Ma. A Sister Judy Clark of Greenfield, Ma. Her stepmother Barbra Clark of Clark of Claremont, NH, and many nieces and nephews.
