My Nana was so special to so many people. From her tender hugs to her sweet smile, she was always ready to give her love.

I remember going to visit the campground often. It was one of my favorite places to be. Cuddling up next to Nana for a movie or waiting for PopPops to make crispy scrapple in the morning, it was always a warm memory.

Their relationship showed me what true love is and how much dedication it takes to keep that. I’ve learned so much from observing how they lived together.

Nana has been a pillar of hope in my life because it didn’t matter the situation, she was always grateful and thankful for the people around her. I miss you, Nana, and I can’t wait to see you again.

Nana fought so hard and for so long. I regret that I didn’t spend more time with her but I’m so happy she has finally been given true rest in Paradise.

I love you, Nana. Thank you for all the precious memories I’ll carry with me forever. You and Pop Pop’s unconditional love for each other was such an inspiration, showing all of us what it truly means to love and care deeply. I have peace knowing you’re with our Heavenly Father, and I look forward to the day I get to see you again. ❤️

Reggie and family--Know that Janie is with Jesus.  PTL.  I remember when we first met when Keith & Scott were in preschool, and so many good times together.  Love Janie and you.

All my life, I grew up listening to the way you and Popop loved each other. I’ve never seen a love like the one you two shared… so deep, so passionate, and so centered around God. Watching you taught me that real love isn’t just a feeling; it’s effort, sacrifice, forgiveness, and choosing someone every day. I always prayed that someday I’d be lucky enough to experience a love like yours.

But Nana, you taught me so much more than love. You showed me what strength truly looks like. You showed me that nothing is out of reach when you fight for it and keep God at the center of everything. You taught me that being a wife and a mother never meant giving up on who you are..that you can still chase your dreams, still grow, still shine. I’ve never met anyone as passionate, talented, and determined as you.

You weren’t just an amazing nurse, Nana, you were an incredible woman. A woman with a heart big enough to hold everyone around you, a woman whose strength I admired more than you ever knew. You have always been, and will always be, one of my greatest role models.

I love you so deeply, Nana. And I always will.

Horton Family, We are so saddened by this news. Your Mom was one of a kind and so very sweet. I know she is fully healed and with her Savior. We will be praying for your family during these difficult days ahead.

Wouldn’t be the man I am today without you. Wouldn’t have become the marine I am. I’m very proud to have been your grandson. Check on Rosie up there :)
