Jane's obituary
Jane Hedrick, born on October 3, 1960, passed away on May 14, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Courtney Cinko; daughter Tracy Hedrick; son Charles Spindler II; granddaughters Alana and Hailey Vega, as well as granddaughter Layla Detlaf; grandsons Caly, Cameron, Ronin, Leo, Gideon, and Charles Spindler III; son-in-law Ron Walker II. Jane was predeceased by her father John Cinko, mother Mary Cinko (Dazzo), and sister Annette Kelaiditis (Cinko).
Jane got married in 1977 and welcomed three children in 1978, 1983, and 1989. She graduated IBEW local 134 trade school in 1993 and became a proud grandmother in 1996, 2001, 2003, and 2007. In 2015, Jane moved to Cincinnati and gained additional grandchildren in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021. She always said her children and her grandchildren were the best parts of her.
She loved listening to classic rock music, often way too loud for everyone else. She very much enjoyed watching true crime, sci-fi, and comedic TV shows and movies. Her favorite past time was to watch a good movie on repeat, until she was certain she could remember all of the parts. Jane enjoyed fishing and horseback riding in her younger years, as well as spending time with her grandkids whenever she could. She cherished time at lake houses and the beach during family vacations.
Jane was passionate about helping the poor and sheltering homeless animals. Described as exuberant, stubborn, caring, and crazy at times, she taught others to always take care of those less fortunate and to help those in need. Jane's greatest accomplishment was putting herself through trade school while raising three children as a single mother. Her legacy will be one of never giving up, no matter how difficult life can be, with an endless hope that things would be better.
