Jane Elizabeth (Donegan) Gorman, age 61, passed away on December 5, 2019, surrounded by family in the comfort of her home in South Yarmouth, MA.

Born in Hartford, CT on September 3, 1958, Jane was the youngest daughter of Dorothy (King) Charest and the late William Donegan. She was raised in Connecticut, and graduated from East Hartford High School, Class of 1976. She moved to Cape Cod and met the love of her life, Philip Gorman, while both working at the USPS. They married in June of 1995, and had two daughters together, Hannah and Lily, whom she loved dearly.

Jane was a lover of movies, music, and crossword puzzles. She was soft-spoken, but had a loud and infectious laugh. Jane will be fondly remembered as kind, selfless, and gentle, and as someone who always put the needs of others first. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and will be greatly missed.

Jane is survived by her husband Philip Gorman; mother Dorothy Charest and husband Francis Charest; siblings Patricia Watras, Dorothy Porri, William and John Donegan; daughters Hannah and Lily Gorman; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
