Janey's obituary
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Jane "Janey" Brennand, who left us peacefully on December 23, 2025. Born on June 9, 1945, Janey brought joy and laughter to all who were fortunate to know her. Her warmth and kindness will be profoundly missed, and her legacy of love for The LORD will forever resonate with us.
Janey was the daughter of longtime El Paso residents, Judd and Marie Brennand. She attended Ysleta High School and graduated from Texas Western College (UTEP). She loved horses and was very involved with the El Paso Junior Rodeo.
She enjoyed music which became central to her life as she played the guitar and became a music minister in multiple locations around the world. Janey was one to the early members of the Jesus movement that hit El Paso like a whirlwind in the early 1970's, and one of the founding members of Jesus Chapel Church in El Paso, TX. She contined faithfully in minstry up until the end of her life serving as an interessor and encourager to the Body of Christ.
She is survived by her sisters Judy Craddock of Houston Texas, Kathy Arrufat of El Paso, and Nancy Harden and her husband Jack of San Antonio along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. All who knew her especillay the Jesus Chapel Friday Night's group will miss her worship ministry and loving presence.
A memorial service organized by her dear friend, Inez, Quiroz, is scheduled for 4:00PM [mountian time], February 1, 2025 at New Wine Fellowship, 5105 Thornton Drive, El Paso, Tx 79932.
