Jane Marie Aschemeier, 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024 surrounded by her children and her beloved dog, Jett. 

Jane was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1957, grew up in Waterville, and attended Anthony Wayne High School where she graduated in 1975. Jane married Terry Aschemeier in 1989 and worked for a variety of companies in Northwest Ohio while raising their 3 children. She moved to Arizona late in 2015 to be closer to her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. 

She is survived by her children Jamie (Darrell) Sutton, Jeremy (Jennifer) Aschemeier, and Kaitlin (Tyler) Aschemeier; 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; and sisters Joyce Adlington and Julie Clauson. She is preceded in death by her parents Jule and Jean (Cole) Utz, and brothers Tom and Ron Utz.

In her 40's, Jane became involved in horseback riding and horse shows with her youngest daughter and enjoyed it very much. Jane found listening to rock music and attending concerts throughout her life very enjoyable. In her later years of life, she had the pleasure of attending concerts such as The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Seager, and Eric Clapton. She also enjoyed painting, crafting stones into jewelry, and collecting geodes to display in her home. She enjoyed working on puzzles, playing Yahtzee, cards, and computer games.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jane's name to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The family asks healthy individuals to please consider donating plasma to help those with Alpha-1 Deficiency.
