Jana's obituary
Jana Grayson was born in Houston, TX on June 23, 1970, to David and
Barbara Bailey, and passed away on October 15, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Bailey, first husband
Jesse Walker, and late husband Steve Grayson.
She is survived by her father David Bailey, daughter Kristen and
husband Jeremy Brown. Son Travis Grayson, and grandson Jesse Brown.
Brother Jason Bailey and wife Heather, and niece Lorelai Bailey. Along
with many other family and friends.
From early childhood, she attended Bible Baptist Church; in fact, she
was at the very first service. She devoted her love for God through
services like singing, playing the organ and piano, and teaching Sunday
School. Anyone who knew her, knew of her love for God, and that she
was an avid snowman collector. Jana accomplished a degree in Funeral
Directing from Commonwealth Institute. She also dedicated 15 years of
service to special needs children, and administrative roles within Spring
ISD, where she herself graduated from high school. Always being present
and supporting friends and family, no matter the occasion, was one of
her most memorable values.
Jana was the type of caring and compassionate daughter, sister, wife,
mother, friend, and GiGi that you could truly feel she "loved you to the
moon and back" (a quote shared between her and Jesse). And she will be deeply missed.
Memorial service for Jana will be
Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 am
