Hello Jolanta and family. I met Jan just a few times and really admired his knowledge of railway heritage. He was so kind too. Wishing you all well, Norah

Sincere condolences to Jan's family from one of his colleagues from the DS Committee of the European Company where Jan was much appreciated and looked up to. His words were always to the point and valuable. I learnt quite a lot from listening to him on various topics, difficulties and suggestions as he was always the constructive one!
For the last couple of years he's been fighting with so much dignity. It's a great loss for you and also for many friends and colleagues. All my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Dear all,
I work at Dassault Systemes and I have met Jan in 2010 when he became part of CATIA team.
We have been working together for the next 10 years and of course we have had together many many exchanges and many customer visits. And many discussions about Polish and Briton traditions.
I don't remember ever Jan with bad temper or negative feelings : he was so positive and good tempered - a real gentleman. Last time we spoke was in January 2022 if I remember well. He discussed his health problems with lot of dignity and realism.
So I am very sad for all you because I know how much he cherished you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.
Frederic

With a deep sadness, I learned that my colleague and friend Jan had recently passed away.
I had the chance to know Jan through his activity in the Dassault Systèmes's Commitee of European Company
We had made many exchange about professional concerns during official meetings and also about more personal topic at our hotel's lobby
notably when we had a beer with other colleagues.
I learned many aspect of Jan that a really appreciated like his wit, his sense of humour, his business oriented mind, his passion for music (I remember that he used to be a band's member)
and before all his familly and Poland's root.
My familly had also paid many terrible loss because of cancer.
This year with Jan, I have one more reason to make a donation to research to fight against this disease
I already miss Jan a lot
Condolence

Deepest condolences to Jan's family
I worked with Jan closely in the early 2000s, he was a lovely man who clearly loved his family. He was a mentor at the time and this is very sad news. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Jolanta & Family,
I had a soft spot for Jan, he was so welcoming, kind and cheery when I joined Dassault Systemes. He kindly took me through his knowledge in a way that was easy to understand. We also worked on some customer presentations together; his knowledge was fabulous and he told a great story. Jan talked about his family with so much love and fondness. He told a great story one evening when we are out for a curry near Christmas time, about the Rapacz family rituals at that time of year. It was lovely and I'm very sad to hear of Jan's passing. My condolences to all of you, sending strength in this difficult time.

Dear Jolanta & Family,
On behalf of Dassault Systemes, I wanted to share our condolences. Words are always very inadequate at times like this but we wanted you to know our thoughts are with you at this incredibly sad time.
I was personally privileged to work twice with Jan, the first at IBM then joining him once again at Dassault Systemes and he was truly valued and cared massively for his colleagues and our clients. We have fond memories both in UK and globally.
Our sincere condolences.
