It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jamila Al-Botani who left us peacefully . Born in 1941, Jamila was a woman of immense kindness, love, and compassion. Her unwavering dedication to her faith as a devout attendee of St. George's Catholic Community was a testament to her strong character and humble spirit.
Jamila was the beloved wife of the late Yousif Mansoor Al-Botani, a bond that emboldened both individuals through years of love, companionship, and mutual respect. She was the tender nurturer to their children, Karim Mansoor, Samira Mansoor, Samia Katto, Samir Mansoor, and Ebtesam Mansoor, each of whom carry forward the embodiment of their mother's love and benevolence.
Her legacy continues to live on through her cherished grandchildren, Daniela Katto, Yannis Mansoor, Claude Katto, Gloria Katto, Milad Coma, Johnny Mansoor, and Khalid Coma. Jamila's spirit of warmth and generosity was a guiding light in their lives and will continue to inspire them in the years to come.
The funeral service for Jamila will be held on December 7, at 7:00 PM at 4807 W McFadden Ave. A second gathering in memory of Jamila will be convened at 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The final tribute to Jamila will be held at 10:30 PM at 7115 Beach Blvd. As we bid farewell to Jamila, we cherish the moments of her remarkable life and the love she has left behind in our hearts.
In her life and now in her passing, Jamila Al-Botani remains an emblem of kindness, love, and compassion. Her adoration for the church and the strength she drew from her faith will forever be remembered.
