Jamie's obituary
Jamie was born April 25, 1976. The oldest of three sisters, she was raised by her mother, Joanna Hampton (Scott) and father Michael Hampton, both of McKenzie, Tennessee. She graduated from McKenzie High School in 1993 and received her Associates Degree of Nursing from Jackson State Community College, where she graduated as a registered nurse.
Jamie was very proud to be a nurse and her passion for nursing was evident in all the people she helped throughout her career. Jamie was an avid thrifter and loved the thrill of finding unique treasures to repurpose. She loved to travel and had visited almost all fifty states by the time of her death.
Loved ones that preceded her in death are her mother, JoAnna Hampton and biological father, Troy Crocker. Loved ones that will miss Jamie until they meet again are her husband Tracy Taylor, her sons Brennan McCusiton (AJ), Preston Adams, Gage Adams, and Mason Taylor, her father, Michael Hampton, her two sisters, Elizabeth Bates (David) and Kelly Eads (Justin) and many other loved ones and lifelong friends.
We know Jamie has finally found peace and is with our mother and Heavenly Father. “As you close your eyes in rest, may all of your pain and troubles be lost forever. May you find paradise and a world of eternal beauty.”
